Background
OpenAI and Carahsoft have jointly planned an online webinar in the first week of June, which focuses on different possibilities for educational institutions to make use of Codex and automate their process tasks.
The one-hour seminar, which is called Building With Codex in Education, is aimed at both technical and non-technical personnel working within the higher education sector. OpenAI is marketing Codex not just as a tool for developers but as something that can be used more generally.
The educational institution will have a glimpse of how their internal requirements can be converted into practical technology solutions with the help of webinars, simplification of processes, and making their job easier. This will be relevant for faculty members, staff, and operations personnel who may not have any idea about coding.
Nicole Carter, GTM for Education at OpenAI, said the session aims to help education teams build useful tools from routine operational needs. She added that Codex supports knowledge work on a daily basis and is not limited to technical audiences. Carter noted that participants will explore how to reduce manual effort, improve internal processes, and quickly prototype solutions that support faculty, staff, and students.
Carahsoft is co-hosting the event as part of its public sector technology events programme. The company works with technology vendors, resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers across the United States and Canadian public sector, including education.
Attendees will leave with practical ideas for turning institutional needs into usable solutions, examples of Codex supporting education workflows, and strategies to improve team efficiency. Registration for the early-June virtual event is currently open.
