The UAE Ministry of Education has launched the NOVA project, a strategic initiative that brings artificial intelligence into government operations to reshape how the education sector functions.

Minister of Education Her Excellency Sarah Al Amiri said the project reflected the Ministry’s commitment to the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to bring AI and advanced data technologies into government operations.
She said AI-driven transformation was no longer optional but a national necessity, and that NOVA represented a shift toward a more agile institutional model built on investing in people and developing national capabilities.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim said NOVA built on years of investment in digital transformation, AI, capacity building and data development.
He said the initiative would unify institutional workflows across the Ministry and the education sector, creating a transparent work environment supported by reliable data and smart systems.
