Education in Motion (EiM), a global education company, has launched a new Education Advisory Board to guide fresh approaches in teaching and learning.
The Board will be co-chaired by Lesley Meyer, EiM’s Chief Education Officer, and Richard Levin, former Yale University President and ex-CEO of Coursera. Levin also serves as Professor Emeritus of Economics at Yale.
Members include some of the most respected names in education worldwide. Among them is Professor Rose Luckin from University College London, a leading expert on artificial intelligence in education. Other members include David Leebron, former President of Rice University and Dean at Columbia Law School; Andrew Hamilton, former Vice Chancellor of Oxford University and President of New York University; and Doris Sohmen-Pao, a former Princeton trustee and Director of the INSEAD MBA Program.
Announcing the launch, Lesley Meyer said the Board reflects EiM’s mission to pioneer global education by bringing together extraordinary thinkers to shape the next generation of learning.
Richard Levin added that schools must balance timeless intellectual skills with modern tools, noting that the Board will focus on how technology, creativity, and critical thinking can keep education both rigorous and relevant.
Through this initiative, EiM wants to start discussions that will shape schools around the world and get students ready for the challenges of the future.
